Retainers made from spring band steel prevent axial withdrawal on bolts and shafts. mbo Osswald currently features in its programme different versions of these shaft retainers:
a) For bolts and shafts with groove
   - SL-retainers, compensating for play
   - KL-retainers, compensating for play
   - Bayonet clips and
   - Locking washers according to DIN 6799
   - Retaining ring according to DIN 471
These parts are easy to disassamble and can be used several times.

b) For bolts and shafts without groove
- Duo clips, removable
- Spring washers with standard cap made of stainless steel and or without cap, not removable
