PTFE rod ends
A rod end (DIN 648/DIN ISO 12240-4) or pivoting bearing (DIN 648/DIN ISO 12240-1) is for the most part a standardised, preassembled machine element which serves to transfer static and dynamic forces in conjunction with swinging, tilting and rotation motions. Rod ends in accordance with DIN ISO 12240-4 (DIN 648) comprise a housing, a bearing shell and an inner race. These in turn come in different size ranges: K or E, where the size range E is the narrow version, which can also be combined with a clevis.
