Locking washers in accordance with DIN 6799 made from spring steel or stainless steel prevent axial withdrawal on shafts and bolts with groove. They come in different sizes for groove diameters ranging from 3.2 mm to 19 mm. These retainers can be mounted with or without a mounting tool. They can be removed.
