joint combinations
Joint combinations or clevis joint combinations can be used in a wealth of applications. A good alternative for creating links which must be movable are the knee joints, which can transfer linear movements. Knee joints are made up either of an AFKB clevis joint and a clevis mating piece or of a clevis (DIN 71752/DIN ISO 8140) with bolt and various retainers and a clevis mating piece. Further possibilities are the linking of clevises with male thread with an angle joint (DIN 71802) or of clevises (DIN 71752/DIN ISO 8140) and rod ends (DIN 648/DIN ISO 12240-4). Further variations are also possible. Depending on the version, clevis joints are available in steel and stainless steel.
