With this type of bolt one or more grooves are applied which are used to retain the bolt. These bolts come in virtually every conceivable version. Bolts with a groove are retained by SL retainers, KL retainers, bayonet clips or locking washers in accordance with DIN 6799. Special versions with regard to length, tolerance and material on request. mbo short designation: BEG (bolt with groove, turned), BEN (bolt with groove and riveted head). Material: free-cutting steel 1.0718 (11SMnPb30+C). These bolts are also available in stainless steel!
