Hardened clevises are extremely strong and specially designed for applications where extreme forces occur. In normal clevises, extreme stresses can lead to rapid deformation of the cross hole, which can strongly affect function or lead to complete failure.
The increase in requests for such high load connection elements led mbo to expand their production. Customers can now choose from a wide range of hardened clevises with internal and external threads.
The hardened region surrounds the cross hole of the clevis head. The hardness is approx. 60+/- 2 HRC and the hardening depth is at least 0.3 mm.
Clevises with hardened cross holes are available from size G 4 x 8 to Size G 20 x 40, i.e. from M 4 standard threads to M 20 fine-pitch threads, with right or left threads depending on the application purpose.
All parts can be delivered in galvanized steel. In addition, a variety of matching connecting pieces is available for the clevises.
As always, mbo offers additional variations and individual designs as per customer requirements.
