Axial joints similar to DIN 71802: compensating linear (axial) joint for moving parts
Angle joints with slotted sockets

Angle joints with slotted socketsStandard linking components have been introduced and tested in actual practice. However the disadvantage of standardization is that it results in lack of flexibility as far as possible innovations are concerned. After all, it is particularly in the standards where potential improvements can be found which should be put into practical use.

An example of such an improvement which is to be found in the area of angle joints in accordance with DIN 71802, in particular the angle joint sockets in accordance with DIN 71805, is the angle joint socket with slot. We were able to dispense with 2 parts on the socket side, the snap ring and the circlip, and replace them with a single part, the safety clamp which by means of the slots in the ball socket holds and retains the ball stud.

Assembly is much quicker and simpler than before and has the additional advantage that the circlip no longer needs to be inserted by hand. The ball socket can also be dismantled without any difficulty.

These angle joints with slotted sockets as well as separate ball sockets with slot are available in all current standard angle joint sizes from M5 to M8 with short or long shaft in galvanized steel.
